There is a famous Finnish proverb about cakes that are pretty but don't have nice fillings. This cake was the opposite.

Still haven't found a bike, still not loving the taxis, still not going to get a car.

I've spent a lot of time in this cafe lately. I love the way they serve the tea, and their salads are (expensive but) decent.

For me The Blue Mosque is Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, but King Abdullah I Mosque is also very blue and beautiful.

We flew from DXB to Amman, me and a plane full of meat. Don't ask why.

In Dubai the bars and nightclubs are in hotels. Comparing to the hotel bars I've been to before, these were quite impressive.

Under the burning sun of Wadi Rum these people took the idea of hot yoga to another level.

If only I would've been able to go up, either by climbing or just for the photos. Maybe next time.

Sun in Aqaba is hotter than in Amman, and goes down to the sea with some style.
