It's hard to understand why someone would spend 350 million USD to build a landmark as distasteful as Le Royal.

In Dubai the bars and nightclubs are in hotels. Comparing to the hotel bars I've been to before, these were quite impressive. 

It's not only a place for a Holiday

Holiday Inn is a good reminder that Beirut is not all fun and games. Though I wonder if they will get rid of it at some point.
